Many writers are great but write small and below themselves. They don’t have the confidence and knowledge of what sells and who and how to get it in front of the right people. Again, our reputation is all we have so we wont pass you along till the script is great combining art and commerce. You need to incorporate certain elements to make it enticing to the next level of eyes. We prepare you for that. No one else will and you could just be going around town burning bridges if you shop the market with a half baked script. NO ONE WILL READ YOUR SCRIPT TWICE. We do our coverage with the mindset of the Endgame with buyers in mind, so it is both artistic but also ‘financially’ viable. In this day and age no investor will just blindly throw their money away no matter how artistic you think your film is. They want a business game-plan. We show you the elements to incorporate into your script to make it viable on the main stage. Sometimes the most minor adjustment can mean the difference between getting a distribution/ financing deal and your film/script winding up in the INDEPENDENT FILM WASTELAND– again remember 10,000 Indy Films produced a year and only approx 300 get any sort of viable distribution deal. We can help secure LOI’s from TALENT and DISTRIBUTORS making your pitch much easier. We assist you on all aspects of CAST and LOCATIONS and SCRIPT and if you follow our game-plan it should be no trouble for your film to secure a solid Distribution deal.
7) TALENT / FUTURES ADVISORS
We advise you on current “NAMES” available for your film. This is the obvious one anybody can do. We also, run numbers on “EMERGING ARTISTS”. Talent that are currently shooting or on tap to shoot Big Budget Features and Blockbuster Films and TV shows that are due for release in 12-24 mo’s. This is the fun part. Yes it’s riskier but we love to forecast the futures. This is the variable that constantly changes and where the gamble lies. It’s like the FUTURES MARKET on WALL-STREET. This should be the only element you gamble with when putting a film together. It’s highly volatile and potentially lucrative. We assess which actors are (or will be) getting a lot of heat and may be the stars of tomorrow catapulting your project to the next level. It’s also wise to think outside of the box when it comes to your genre. If you’re shooting a 3 Million dollar Dark Drama you may want to reach out to “NAME” actors that are primarily known for “Comedies”. You’d be surprised the caliber of Talent and players you’ll get to respond do to the fact we’re all Artists and if the script is great they want to expand their Artistic range as much as the next guy. That is why we all got into this business. Think outside the box.
